Park Lake

We arrived in the middle of a hail and lightning storm unable to see a meter in front of faces. Things did not improve much from there. Major wind (apparently normal in these parts) threatened to knock the trailer over. No wonder everyone was rocking a travel trailer or motorhome. Electricity (and water because the pumps were all electric) was out for most of the first day because of the storm. None of the bathrooms had running water (all were outhouses) and the wind pushed what could only be described as the most heinous stench everywhere including over our site whenever we were eating.

Firewood: only sold at a concession that was closed
Campsites: very close together with no privacy screening (trees, bushes or fence)
Showers: no
Plumbing: outhouse
Water: communal (no site tap)
Electricity: site hookup (120 & 240)

Hi, welcome.

Welcome to the Campsite Blog. We will be posting reviews of campgrounds as we take our job as campground critics quite seriously. We may even post pictures of other things too.

Feel free to leave a comment or better yet, make your own post!

You can make your posts from this web page or you can try the handy dandy iPhone app at http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/wordpress/id335703880?mt=8&ls=1 which works well. If you post pictures as “Large” or use the quick photo button, things seem to be legible. The url you which to use is “https://campblog.thecoulters.ca/”.
